Penny was talking to her lawyer-friend last night about electronic crime. Did you know that even anonymous blog comments can be tracked?! I didn’t. But apparently, the police have an electronic crime force that handle that kind of thing! It seems that cyber-bullying/stalking/harrassing gets taken seriously. Just as in everyday life, you can call the police if people won’t leave you alone, so too in cyber-life. Mind-boggling, hey?!
Anybody who blogs for any length of time knows that cyberspace is just as nasty as the real world. So if you blog (or even if you just live on Facebook or e-mail) and you get comments you don’t like, make sure you keep the notification/e-mails on file. You might need it one day! I’m sure it makes it even easier for them if you have a tracker on your site–as probably any regular blogger does–so if you’re a new blogger, go get one of these!
And file this information away because, if you keep blogging, you’ll probably need it one day…

Thats amazing! I might need to get one on my blog just incase I decide to make it public. Its amazing what can be done with computers these days.
