Review: Dancing on Glass by Pamela Ewen

My thoughts: I actually both received and completed this book well before the due date which was really nice. 🙂 I’ve never read anything by Pamela before so this was a good introduction to her writing. Because of the nature of the book, it feels a little strange to say you “enjoyed” it…but it was definitely a book that I didn’t want to put down. It was both intriguing and chilling; very thought-provoking. It finished a bit like a movie with everything being nicely tied up, however the rest of the book was easily reality (sadly) for many people, probably women in particular. It shows the dangers of isolating ourselves from our networks and justifying what feels good at the expense of truth and, yet, how God can still redeem our lives. I found it a very fascinating insight into the minds of both predator and prey. You can find out more here.

Had a wee look….I want to read it! I’m drawn to books where control is prevalent as I come from that type of background. I’m so grateful this is not my experience in marriage! Hubby has always given me freedom and unconditional love and it’s this wonderful gift that has helped me to become more and more free from my past! God is GOOD!!
